No, you need the medication.
Sure if you want to get malaria.
Can you cover your skin completely with cloth or with insecticide. What about when you are bathing or sleeping?
If you get malaria it is the most miserable disease alive - you will have it forever. Why would you take the risk when you could take a pill once a week and not have the risk?
