it is very affective against malaria and, unfortunately, most living organisms.
DDT isn’t meant to fight malaria, it’s meant to fight mosquitoes which carry malaria.
Quinine fights malaria.
DDT will not be effective enough, as there will always be other places for mosquitoes to reproduce. Also mosquitoes may develop a resistance to increasing dosages of DDT, and it will also affect all the food chain in the area. The modern solution to this is to dry all dumps, in fresh water lakes one can use special fish that feed on the mosquitoes. Read more at
