I am going to the Punta Cana Club Med. If I had not walked into my kids pediatricians office I would never have known about this, I am concerned about the side effects.

I just got back from there and have never heard of such a thing… I think you’ll be okay without them. I’m not a doctor though. Have fun!!

no i don’t think so, i been there three or four times ,everyone is nice. weather is great and the beaches, been off the resort to different cities and all was find, took city buses.i’m going back on 27th. of jan.

No, I never take the pills. Malaria is very rare. West nile or Lyme disease in USA is far more common, yet who really worries about those?

they will tell you if you are travelling with travelling agent and will be staying on a resort you don’t have to worry they will assure you that the food and water on the resort are safe
