Today, many places in Africa are using it, they spray near homes and other skeeter breeding spots.
DDT is not harmless to humans. Its simply not as harmful to us as it has been seen to be other species. And it is in regular use in many countries for pest control to stem malaria.

Enviro-nazis **** anything proven to work. DDT is evil, it kills poor helpless mosquitoes.
DDT has saved more human lives by far than it ever harmed.
I say bring it back ASAP!!!
No. Because you can save several hundred thousand people, but what are the people going to eat if the fish are dead from bio-accumulation of DDT? Seems like a better idea to move beyond 1970 and find a 21st century, targeted approach.
Or, we should go back to frontal lobotomies to cure depression too.
EDIT: bmovies…. umm, malaria is a parasite carried by mosquitoes.
And because we obviously have a lot of children on here (spongeted), DDT was largely responsible for the near extinction of predatory birds like the “All American-Apple Pie-Jesus Loving” Bald Eagle. It was also present in mother’s ****** milk, which would explain a few things about those born in the 60s-70s.
