Malaria Treatment FAQ:

malarone is pretty expensive over in the uk (£2.20) per tab. Is it worth holding out and buying these out in Singapore before I travel up into Malaysia? (im guessing they’d be a little cheaper)

Any help appreciated :)

Its available in Singapore but really need to get from a hospital or precipitation only since alot are being sold else where that are not what you need and wont do what you need done so you will be taken for your money and have junk for pills.Doxycline is used and its around 400 a pop. Think about side effects before you take this stuff some times you don’t have to even take for malaria this will depend if you are going to be all over the place.BE Careful WHAT you BUY there!!!!!

I think you should include dengue fever, Chikungunya, Japanese Encephalitis. All can be deadly. If you are sleeping mosquito infested places, best is to buy mosquito nets also.
