Malaria Treatment FAQ:
I just got back from Belize. I used bug spray and took all precautions I could against insects, but I still got a bunch of mosquito bites. I’m really worried about malaria now. I know that it can be treated and cured (especially now that I’m back home in the U.S.), but I’m still a bit on-edge. Should I be worried or am I just being paranoid?

You didn’t mention taking anti malaria medicine. You should take the medicine before, during and after returning from the malaria region. I am therefore assuming you didn’t in which case there is a chance that you may get malaria. So be on the look out for symptoms (fever, chills and pain all over the body), and see your doctor as soon as you have any.
