similarily female culex mosquito spread filariasis
why it is said so?

Why?

Male mosquito’s don’t bite.

Female mosquito’s do bite.

No joke!

Why is it that male mosquito’s don’t bite?

They are genetically predisposed to allow the female to
do that job.

From what I read in the papers this morning, you are right. It is the female mosquito that bites. Not sure why.
On a slightly related note, I read about lasers being used to kill mosquitoes. The beam works in conjunction with a computer and lenses that track the mosquito and identifies the female ones by measuring the wing flap rate. It then sends a laser beam just strong enough to burn the mosquito wing. Pretty amazing technology there huh. Sorry this does not the answer your question but just an interesting fact.

Because female mosquitoes feed on blood for fertilization. Male mosquitoes only feed on nectar.

Female mosquito carrying bacteria long time and these mosquitos only bite other living beings where as male mosquito doesn’t.
